Information we collect
We collect the mobile number you verify to create and access your Philia account, and the Facebook or Instagram profile link you provide when you first sign up. We record your Gathering availability and requests. If you choose product texts, we record your choice, its time and source, the disclosure shown, and any later opt-out. RSVP details help us identify relevant event reminders.
How we use it
We use your number for account verification through Clerk. Philia's team uses your profile link privately to review your request; it is not displayed on public pages. With your separate, optional permission, we may text you about Gatherings you ask to join. Members can separately opt in to reminders for events they RSVP to. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop product texts or HELP for help. Stopping product texts does not disable requested account codes.
Sharing and service providers
Clerk processes account verification and Twilio processes product text delivery for Philia. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your choice
Gathering and event reminder texts are optional. You can request a Gathering and RSVP without them. You may opt out by replying STOP to a Philia product text. See the Terms & Conditions for SMS program details.
