I started Philia because I wanted to meet more interesting people nearby and break up my work-from-home routine. Maybe you know the feeling: you want friends close to home, but everyday life makes it hard to really get to know someone, then meet again.

I’m Nick Cybela, a two-time founder. My first company was parodied on HBO’s Silicon Valley. I love helping people advance their careers and businesses, and I spend a lot of time rethinking what’s possible with AI.
Outside of work, I kickbox, fly FPV drones, and will absolutely fight for the last bowl of pho.
